Danny Gagliano, Lead Vocals, Separate Ways The Band, The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band

Danny Gagliano

Lead Vocals

Danny began his musical Journey at a very young age. Danny was raised listening to "The oldies" ", bands like Frankie Valli and the four seasons were always played on the radio at every family gathering. The band that got him interested in becoming a rockstar was KISS. He got his first electric guitar Christmas of. 1977 and tried to teach himself a s many KISS songs as possible:
In the 8th grade Danny heard Don't Stop Believin' on the radio and that was it, he was hooked! He purchased every Journey album and played them over and over again, singing and learning a lot of songs on the guitar and piano. Danny eventually converted the family garage into a rehearsal studio where he would hone his skills, practicing every day after school.
In High School Danny formed a band and performed at many of his school's "Battle of the Bands" playing songs by Journey, Bon Jovi, and Van Halen, just to name a few. After High School; he took voice lessons with Don Lawrence, the well-known voice teacher of Sebastian Bach and Jon Bon Jovi, and in 2015 with voice teacher, Tony O'Hora. Danny was in and out of bands all over NY, N J and Staten Island, playing covers and writing and recording original songs with the hopes of hitting the big time.

In 1992, with limited success in the music industry, Danny eventually succumbed to the 9 to 5 life and got a job as an auto mechanic. In 2001 after becoming well known as "The Journey Guy" at the local Karaoke club, singing like Steve Perry and also having a very close resemblance to him, Danny was asked be the lead singer of a Journey Tribute band named "Worlds Apart". 20 years later, after changing the name of the band and with a few line-up changes, Danny is the lead vocalist of one of the most well-known Journey Tribute bands on the east coast, Separate Ways the Band. With an amazing group of super talented musicians, Danny gets to perform songs that have become the soundtrack of our lives and he has a great time doing it.
